Ah, "Shank." Everyone in the world showed up to play, and everyone left feeling miserable. Opening for Six Organs of Admittance, no less. Well, looking back, it ain't so bad. Yes, it was ridiculous, and this recording is ridiculous. Made on a little handheld tape recorder, lying on the stage near the electric mandolin. Perhaps not the optimal position for a representative recording, but it has the right feel.
